RTI Services sets great store by continuing to improve the process of goods flows and it is for this reason that we belong to organisations such as EVO and GS1.
EVO
RTI Services is a member of EVO (Dutch transportation organisation). This employers’ organisation for logistics and transport is active in the field of goods flow, including storage. Members include over 30,000 shipping companies and businesses that use professional transport companies or transport goods for their own account in the wholesale and retail trade, building and construction, industry, agriculture and business services. The aim of EVO is to ensure that members can organise their logistics processes as efficiently as possible.
GS1
The name GS1 was established in 2005 with the merger of the North American UCC and the EAN (European Article Numbering Association). GS1 is a worldwide organisation that focuses on the design and implementation of standards in the field of electronic communication between companies. The EAN codes (barcodes) have been developed for use with both products and transport units. GS1 is also involved with the implementation of RFID standards.
