The RTIs that you own or rent are not always required at once for the production process and it can therefore be necessary to arrange RTI storage facilities. Storage costs can vary depending on the number of RTIs not in use at any given moment, and whether you have your own on-site storage facilities or rent storage space from a third party provider. In addition to storage costs, RTI repairs can also be a major source of expense. RTIs generally have a long lifespan, but nevertheless sometimes require interim repairs or replacement. Repairs to defective RTIs are carried out at the depots. Some pool systems charge a pool contribution to cover the costs involved.
